Artist uses AI to recreate face of Alexander the Great

Dutch photographer and digital designer Bas Uterwijk used artificial intelligence to create a “photograph” of Alexander the Great… or what he might look like.

Uterwijk, who has a background in computer graphics, 3D animation and special effects, has used his talent to create surreal portraits of famous historical figures.

His latest work is Alexander the Great, also known as “The King of Kings”. He was born on July 20 or 21, 356 BC. born. in Pella, Macedonia. Until he was 16 he was tutored by the philosopher Aristotle. He became king of the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedonia and led a pan-Hellenic campaign against Persia, spreading Greek culture throughout the empire he created.

The artist accompanied the face of Alexander the Great with a quote from the great warrior himself: “I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep; I fear an army of sheep led by lions.”

Other Uterwijk themes include famous historical figures such as Britain’s Queen Elizabeth I, Napoleon, the Statue of Liberty, David Bowie and George Washington.

“I fear not an army of lions led by a sheep; I fear an army of sheep led by a lion” Alexander the Great (356 BC)

Alexander was recognized as a military genius who set an example.

In this early yearArchaeologist Liana Souvaltzi claims she discovered the real tomb of Alexander 20 years ago in Egypt.but has since been blocked by the Greek and Egyptian governments.

Some of Alexander the Great’s most famous quotes:

  • “Nothing is impossible for those who try.”
  • “I owe thanks to my father for life, but to my teacher for a good life.”
  • “Remember that the behavior of each depends on the fate of all.”

Interesting facts about Alexander the Great:

  • In 15 years of conquest, Alexander never lost a battle.
  • He was tutored by Aristotle but also came into contact with other famous ancient Greek philosophers.
  • When Alexander meets Roxanne openly in his future, it’s lightning bolt love.
  • The cause of Alexander’s death remains one of the great mysteries of antiquity.
  • Alexander’s body was kept in a honey barrel.
