This year, one of my new years resolutions is to make new friends. As an adult living in new york city during a global pandemic it’s been really hard making new friends. We’re working from home, forced to isolate, and to be honest a lot of my old friends in the city have moved back in with their parents are on an island in Mexico.
Last year was actually the loneliest year of my life, but I did a lot of inner work with myself after making friends with the wrong people and putting my trust in the wrong hands. This negative experience made me shut down from meeting new people because I found it hard to trust anyone. The positive that came from it was I was able to lock myself in and focus on my creativity to create the channel we have today.
But, humans need more than just digital friends and as much as I love the COINmunity I know it is important for me to make physical human connections so in this video I am going to share with you tips on how to make friends in New York City as an adult.
