Multi-read content provide materials that you want
Instructional material is the content or information taught in a course. This includes lectures, reading material, textbooks, multimedia components and other resources in a course. These materials can be used in both face-to-face and online classes; However, some need to be modified or redesigned to be effective for the online environment. The best teaching materials are consistent with all other elements of the course, including learning, assessment, and achievement objectives.
Why is it important?
Teaching materials provide core information that students will experience, learn and apply during a course. You have the power to attract or demote students. This is especially true for online courses that are based on a thoughtful and complete collection of instructional materials that students access, discover, absorb and refer to as they progress in a course. .
Therefore, such materials must be carefully planned, selected, organized, cleaned, and used in an order for maximum effectiveness. Planning and selecting instructional materials should consider both the breadth and depth of content to optimize student learning.
How to put into practice?
Consider these questions when choosing teaching materials for your course:
Is scope and coverage appropriate?
What will learners read/discover?
What will learners see/hear?
What can learners experience/create?
Will you find or create this material?
Do the materials and facilities support and are consistent with the stated learning objectives?
Is there enough interaction and interaction?
Instructors and/or instructional designers should network widely and include a variety of materials in their course. At the same time, they should weigh these options so that the course contains the appropriate combination of teaching materials. Here are just some of the types of instructional content that should be included in an online course.
