Enlisted Game Guide How to Get Ammo

Enlisted is a free to play WWII first person shooter with limited ammo. It’s important to understand how to get more ammo while you’re alive.Nobody wants to go out and just have to walk around with a knife. Unless you’re looking for a quick revival! Keep reading our guide for quick answers on how it works.

How to get more ammo when enrolling

Load ammo into the magazine

Enlisted How to Get Ammo

Getting ammo in Enlisted isn’t too complicated once you know how. Unfortunately for some reason the game doesn’t seem to take that into account. But that’s exactly why we’re here, to help. There are several methods, with the main one revolving around the cartridge. This can be seen in the screenshot above, where you can instantly refill your ammo.

The trick with magazine shells is that they don’t last until an Engineer places them. If you’re new to Registered, you won’t have access to the Engineer role right away. Reaching campaign level 3 unlocks the engineer team. This role has access to the Jackhammer tool used for fortifications.

For example sandbags and you guessed it, ammo boxes. These don’t seem to be running out of ammo, but we haven’t confirmed that yet. The main thing you have to worry about is that the enemy will destroy them. If you’re not playing as an Engineer, you can still find the ammo box icon on the mini-map.

Pick up the gun from the ground

Enlisted Picking Up Weapons Screenshot

The second method of getting more ammo in Enlisted revolves around weapon pickups. As long as the body is still there, you can do this for both enemies and allies. I recommend doing this often with enemy weapons since their bullets are separate from yours. If you have two of the same guns, your ammo can be shared between them. While it’s nice to have a second gun ready to trade, you won’t have much to shoot.

The main problem with picking up weapons from the ground is that this mechanic is very skilled. It is likely that the developer will simplify this further. For now, though, you often have to walk around a corpse for the prompt button to appear. And if you do it openly in a fight, chances are you’ll get killed. That’s why sometimes it’s better to loot allies. Just make sure you don’t get killed like they did.

Challenge your teammates to get ammo

Enlisted - Squad Ammo Command

Although I haven’t tested this method, you can call your teammates to get ammo. Use the radial menu on ALT by default for PC players or D-Pad for consoles to retrieve ammo. I’ll have to test this further to see how it works. Maybe as long as a soldier is alive on your team, they will run to you and give you ammo. But for all we know, it’s also possible that they need specific gear to do that.

Be sure to visit our other registered guide alongTips and tricks here. It goes into more detail on how the Engineer role works, as well as other helpful tips. On the contrary, if you have more questions about Enlist, don’t hesitate to comment below the article for help. There is also no need to talk about how to get more ammo.
