War games are a part of this hobby which Matthew and Rodney are gaining a growing fascination with, but now it’s time for them to start actually playing them! The catch is that war games often have a rule book structure not common to other types of board games, and this can be a bit intimidating. To overcome the challenge, they are going to team up and try to learn a war game together, and if you have a curiosity about war games, you’re invited to join them!

On Dec 15th, grab your favorite beverage, settle in and join us as we grab the rule books to Cuba Libre and attempt to learn how to play this popular war game title together! To learn how this idea came about, watch our teaser trailer here:

We’ll be learning the game using the Playbook guide, which walks players through actual rounds of the game while directing you to the relevant rules section as you learn.

This is going to be a marathon effort, not a sprint, and we’d love to have your comments and questions and cheerleading as we attempt to tackle this game.
